Join Our Team

At Batesville, we believe great people create a great organization, and a great organization creates real value for its customers.

“We strive to make Batesville a high performance organization where every associate, throughout their entire career, is encouraged to meet their fullest professional and personal potential.“

Chris Trainor, President of Batesville

We Honor Families

Our mission of “helping families honor the lives of those they love®” lives throughout our organization.

Living Memorial®

Since 1976, our Living Memorial tree planting program has planted more than 14 million trees as a lasting memorial to loved ones. This program is available free of charge with the purchase of most Batesville products.

Remembrance Day

The annual Remembrance Day honors our recently departed friends, family and colleagues. Associates who recently lost a close family member receive a keepsake to honor their loved one. It’s a fitting tribute to the work we do each and every day.

Memorial Day

We gather with members of the local community for an annual Memorial Day flag raising ceremony. Flags representing each branch of the Armed Forces are raised in honor of those who have fallen while serving our country.

Helping Families

Dealing with loss is never easy. Whether it’s providing food and clothes to flood victims or caskets and urns to those impacted by a national tragedy, we do our part to help families during their time of need.

We Have Fun

Whoever said “all work and no play” doesn’t know Batesville. Our culture fosters connections between colleagues and the communities we work in.

Associate Events

When you work hard, you should play hard. Our associates have the opportunity to participate in on-site events such as March Madness, Super Bowl and holiday celebrations.

Community Events

Playing hard isn’t limited to our associates. We offer activities for the community and our associate’s families such as company picnics and holiday parties.

Employee Recognition

We recognize our associates through peer nominations and service awards. While our average tenured associate has 12 years of service, we have more than 100 associates with 40+ years of service.

Developing Our Associates

We believe people are our greatest asset and developing our associates is a vital component of our organization. We help our associates grow their skills, enabling us to promote from within.

No two careers are alike. Individual development plans (IDPs) assist our associates with career and personal development, such as leading projects, short-term assignments in other functional areas and professional mentorships.
Because we promote from within, succession planning allows us to identify and develop associates to fill key roles within our organization.
Batesville University is our learning management system that provides access to eLearning and instructor-lead training on topics such as product knowledge and leadership. Associates can enroll in upcoming courses or take self-paced learning to grow their knowledge base.
In addition to on-the-job training, eligible associates can take advantage of tuition reimbursement to further their knowledge and skills.
