What size urn do I need?

As a general rule, 1 pound of body weight yields about 1 cubic inch of remains. Most adults require an urn sized between 180–220 cubic inches. Non-full-size urns (0.5 - 60 cubic inches), like keepsake size, are smaller options used to split ashes amongst loved ones for shared memorials.

How much does an average urn cost?

How long do ashes last in an urn?

Cremated remains (ashes) are chemically stable and can be safely stored for many years when kept in a clean, dry, and sealed urn.
