Batesville's interdepartmental Workforce Engagement Team works throughout the year to continuously improve the company, helping to create a great organization. The team, established in 2001, has focused their efforts in the following areas: associate communication, associate recognition, and work-life programs. The team is responsible for a quarterly associate newsletter, service recognition activities, and a variety of social activities that are held throughout the year.

The team logo portrays the proud Batesville Casket Company heritage, since a tree has long been associated with the company. Large, healthy, and growing trees have strong roots that provide a solid foundation. Great people lead to great products, and great people and great products provide the strong roots that lead to great companies.
